A video of a Porsche 917 (in this case chassis 021) lapping Spa Francorchamps doesn't need me to waffle on any more about it, other than to say it was made by Daniel Fery and hat-tip to fellow Drive Culter Alistair Preacher for spotting this.

Classic Endurance Race series at Spa Classic 2011
Here is a rather good video from MPZracevideo of the Classic Endurance Race series event at the Spa Classic 2011. There is no commentary, and the video is all the better for it, leaving the viewer to hear the glourious sounds of Ferrari V12s, Porsche Flat 6s and rumbling American V8s charging round the classic Belgian circuit. One rather more unusual sound is the turbine powered Howmet TX.
There are also two sections on onboard video with longer versions available for the viewer to click on. The first is from a rather incongruous Plymouth Hemi Cuda which appears to be hugely fast in a straight line but not surprisingly rather lacking in cornering ability. Later on there is an onboard piece from a Ford GT40, the driver looking like he is struggling to cope with a lack of brakes!
