BMW shows the newest and smallest addition to the M lineup. Update: Now with pictures.
The BMW 1 Series M Coupe promises to be one of the most exciting cars of 2011 and is a welcome return to form for M car fanatics. The slow striptease that's been taking place over the last few weeks, which included some pre-production test drives, has culminated in this video released by BMW. While we only get fleeting glances of the car as a whole, it's easy to tell the 1 Series M Coupe looks the part.
With its 340 hp twin turbo straight six, six speed manual transmission and aggressive stance, BMW will looking to right the transgressions that were the X5M and X6M, and reclaim some of the faith that was lost among M enthusiasts. Look for its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show next month.
