The picturesque village of Wisborough Green played host to a small gathering of classic cars on the village green yesterday. The cars were supposed to accompany a launch of hot air balloons from the green but unfortunately the weather did not play ball.
There was an eclectic mix on display, from a pre-war Lagonda through to a Peugeot 504 that had completed the London to Cape Town rally. Next to the green, coachbuilders James E Pearce had opened their garage to view the collection of Bentleys, Rolls Royces and MGs being rebuilt in their charming facilities.
