Forget about the M3 and M4. The wieldier M2 will be the M car to have.

BMW isn’t acknowledging the existence of this car, but we’re all but certain that the M2 is headed for production. Spotted testing on the Nürburgring in this recent video, the M2 will utilize running gear from the M3 and M4 twins, including a slightly detuned version of the 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine, producing around 380-hp.

The partially camouflaged surfaces hide massively flared fenders almost identical to the M235i racers that are currently terrorizing the VLN series, which takes place exclusive on the Nürburgring. The M2 will likely get more aggressively styled bodywork, and a shiny set of quad exhausts.

If you’re pondering the purchase of an M235i, or even an M3 or M4, then we might suggest waiting a bit longer. The M2 could be the M car to have.
