Chrysler confirm that the Fiat 500 will be coming to the US earlier than expected.
Hipsters rejoice. It was confirmed on Chrysler's Twitter feed that the Fiat 500 would be on sale in the US by the end of 2010. Things being as dire as they are at Chrysler, it appears that they have accelerated the 500′s introduction to the US market. The 500 has received good reviews from the overseas press which is a trend that Chrysler hope's will continue in the US. No word yet on whether or not the hotter Abarth 500 will make it over. If I had to wager though, I would give it a year or so after the initial vanilla 500 introduction.
