I'm not anti-hybrid. On the contrary, I think it's a very relevant technology and as it develops further will provide us with answers to many problems we face today as commuters and motoring enthusiasts. However, if I'm driving a Jetta TDI that gets 30/42 mpg and I have to forfeit a parking spot to a Chevy Tahoe Hybrid that gets 12/22 mpg, I'm going to be a little upset.
Long story short; hybrid technology doesn't always equate to green technology.
