Fast Lane Daily have gotten their hands on what they claim to be the first official picture of the Ferrari 599 GTO. It looks like it was cut out of a brochure in Maranello and hastily stuffed in to someone's jeans pocket while Luca Di Montezemelo was looking away. However, the car itself doesn't look outside the realm of how the 599 GTO could potentially look and is consistent with spy photos we've seen recently.
The Ferrari 599 GTO is expected to retain the Enzo derived V12, and will put out around 700 hp. Weight will be trimmed, possibly by as much as 300 lbs., through the extensive use of carbon fiber and the deletion of unnecessary interior trim.
