Kalle Rovanperä isn’t old enough to drive on public roads, but already has his sights set on a career in the WRC. What were you doing when you were 13?

Since the tender age of eight, Kalle Rovanperä has been learning to drive rally cars as quickly as possible through the forests of Finland. Now 13-years-old, we have video of him doing just that in his Citroen C3 rally car and scaring the bejesus out of a hapless passenger in the process.

I’m not sure what you were doing when you were 13, but if you were anything like me, most driving involved being taken to soccer practice or to get weekly allergy shots.

If Kalle’s surname sounds familiar, that’s because his father is former Peugeot and Mitsubishi WRC factory driver and multiple rally winner Harri Rovanperä. Don’t be surprised to see this kid mixing it up in the WRC in a few years.
