New photos of McLaren's P1 hypercar.
We've gotten pretty used to McLaren releasing teaser pics of its forthcoming P1 hypercar on a weekly basis, but with this latest batch, we finally get a glimpse of the exterior of the finalized production version. It's pretty much the same as the concept car, with the only noticeable difference being the addition of air extractors in front of the front wheel wells.
McLaren has also revealed some pretty mind-blowing performance figures for the P1. From standstill, the P1 will reach 60 in under three seconds, 186 mph in under 17 seconds and will finally stop accelerating at 217.5 mph. With this relatively low top speed, it seems McLaren is putting more of an emphasis on in-gear performance than chasing top speed records.
